How does the new MEGA Fleet install system work?

To get started, you’ll need to download TheMEGAFleet_4.x.x.zip and the additional zip files that include the vehicles from the package you purchased, such as Pro_Version_June_2024_All Electric.zip, Pro_Version_June_2024_Classic Sports Car.zip, Pro_Version_June_2024_Classics.zip, and others.

Here’s how to install everything:

1. After downloading all the files, open Blender and go to Edit > Preferences.
2. In the Preferences window, click on Add-ons on the left and then click Install.
3. A new window will open. Navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded zip files (usually the Downloads folder).
4. Select TheMEGAFleet_4.x.x.zip and click Install Add-on. Then, activate the addon by checking the box next to it.

The MEGA Fleet addon is now installed!

To install your vehicles:

1. Click on the Install Fleet… button.
2. A new window will pop up. Select all the remaining zip files you downloaded earlier and click Install Fleet….
3. You can choose to change the Asset folder location to any hard drive on your computer. However, we recommend avoiding external drives as they can significantly slow down the performance of the MEGA Fleet addon.
4. You don’t have to install all the vehicle zip files if you don’t want to use them right away. This can help save space on your computer. You can always install the remaining files later.

After selecting the zip files and clicking Install Fleet…, give Blender a moment to install everything. This process might take just a few seconds or up to a minute, depending on your computer.

Finally, restart Blender and your MEGA Fleet addon will be ready to use!
